From flowers and bees to berries and buckets of blue. It is a beautiful process to watch.
We provide gallon buckets for those who pick their own and we will provide Zip Loc bags to take those berries home.
DAILY OPERATIONS: We are open on decent weather days, Monday through Saturday. We start our day about 7 AM and pick until about 3 PM for our on-farm and commercial berries, but those who pick their own or want our pre-picked berries can do so until about 6 pm.
As the day progresses, there will be bins of several different varieties of blueberries in our cold room for comparison and selection. We cannot harvest in the rain or for a while after a rain because wet berries do not keep as well as dry ones.
DIRECTIONS TO FARM: From Exit 6 on Mississippi I59, go west toward Picayune on Highway 43 for 3.4 miles through two traffic lights. At the third traffic light, turn right on Liberty Road and go 1.4 miles to Homer Spiers RD just past Liberty Baptist Church. Turn right on Homer Spiers Rd and follow it around the bend for 1/2 mile to the farm on the left. Or punch in 69 Homer Spiers RDon your GPS.
